There is no doubt that both PUBG and Fortnite Battle Royales, are brilliant at what they give to their players and of course the success of both games, cannot go unnoticed. While PUBG has a fair share of the audience, there seems to be only one legit competitor for them and that’s Fortnite. We know that both of these games are available on PC Consoles and mobile phones, with the exception of Fortnite available only on iOS. Now it seems like Epic Games are rolling out their most loved game for Andriod on July 24th, which does put PUBG Corp in a bit of trouble.
Although PUBG Corp may have introduced the battle royale genre, in fact, brought it into the spotlight and made a huge name for itself. Its success streak, however, ended when Epic Games landed their Battle Royale game, Fortnite. Which conquered the throne for the battle royale games, giving PUBG a significant blow.
Even though the mobile version of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds surprisingly ran better, than on PC and Consoles, still Fortnite being only on iOS was able to drop dirt on its mobile success. Now it seems like it will be landing on Andriod devices, to give yet another blow to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Recently Tencent Game also teased the launch of this game on Andriod, and while no official date has been revealed, based on the calendar in the image they posted, it seems like the game will join Andriod devices on 24th July.
At the moment it seems to be rolling out in China, but it definitely will be seeing a global release in the coming months.
What does it mean for PUBG Corp. is the big question? What will they do to remain in the picture? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
