Devil May Cry 5 is the next installment in the Devil May Cry franchise and the game is going back to its actual art style and gameplay unlike the DMC spin-off that people were not a fan of. There are two new characters that we have seen in Devil May Cry 5, Nico and V. Nico is the girl who will sell us the upgrades and is also the same person that has made Nero’s arm. While there is little that we know about the character here is a Devil May Cry 5 Nico cosplay that is spot on.
This Devil May Cry 5 Nico cosplay is by Vasiliel, who is a photographer and cosplayer. More about the character, we know that she is the daughter of the guy that made Ebony and Ivory, the dual pistols that Dante uses throughout the series. This means that this is something that has been passed on to her from her father and while we are not sure how much knowledge regarding demonic weapons has been passed on to her, it will be interesting to see the kind of weapons and upgrades that Nico will have to offer in Devil May Cry 5.
She has made the prosthetic arm for Nero and that might suggest that we will be getting upgrades for the arm from her but I think that she will have more to offer as well. The use of multiple weapons in Devil May Cry is common and I would not be surprised if Nico had other weapons to offer as well. For the right price of course.
The other new character in Devil May Cry 5 is V. While this has not been confirmed it is claimed that his name is Vitale. He will be a ranged character that uses spells and calls. According to reports the aim of introducing V was to make a character that is the opposite of both Dante and Nero. Having that said, the character will present challenges of its own and it will be interesting to see what he has to offer. A few new details regarding the game have also been revealed.
While this is a fan theory, it is said that V is the son of Dante and Lady. A match between Dante and Trish would make better sense but Trish does remind Dante of his mother, so that would have been very weird. This is the first game in the franchise in which scans of models have been used for character design. It is also the first game in the series to get an 18+ rating.
