Anthem PC E3 2018 4K 60 FPS gameplay was pretty cool and smooth but then again it would be considering that the game was running with dual Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards in SLI. This has been confirmed by executive producer, Mark Darrah. He answered a few questions regarding Anthem on Twitter and he also mentioned that while that was the case for the Anthem PC E3 2018 4K 60FPS gameplay the game will be optimized till the launch date arrives.
While the initial requirements for the game are pretty high, it should be noted that the game will be coming out in February 2019, so the devs have plenty of time to tweak the game and optimize it for PC. I am sure that the final version of the game will be buttery smooth but don’t take my word for it. If you did not check out the Anthem PC E3 2018 4K 60FPS Gameplay then you can go back to it in the video included below:
Nvidia seems to be on the forefront of showing off the game and it is possible that Nvidia is partnering with the team in order to bring Anthem to PC. If that is indeed the case then you can rest assured that the game will play fine on PC and as much as people are comparing the game to Destiny 2, I hope that it runs as smooth and it optimized as well. Destiny 2 was made from the ground up for PC and it was very well optimized for the platform. But then again we expected nothing less from a game that came out on PC later on, as compared to the console version.
Mark Darrah also gave other insights regarding Anthem. If you are unable to complete a Stronghold then you won’t be able to get the loot that you would have gotten. But the items that have dropped to the point that you got will still be with you even if you fail. Other than that he mentioned that in free roam there is nothing that is holding your squad together. This potentially means that if one player falls behind then you could leave him to die if that is something that you wanted to do.
He also talked about Anthem as a service and that there will be a hard level cap that will change with the passage of time. Stay tuned for further updates regarding Anthem and what it has to offer.
