Fallout 76 is scheduled to arrive later this year and it’s a huge jump from the previous games as it’s a complete online experience instead of the single-player campaign Fallout is known for. Multiplayer is bringing a lot of changes to the game in terms of leveling up, new perk cards and a revamped special system for the multiplayer environments of the game.
The Fallout 76 S.P.E.C.I.A.L System
The special system has been present in the game for a long time and everyone will be happy to know that it’s not going away in the upcoming Fallout game. It includes Strength, Perception, Edurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck but they are introducing a new feature to make use of the system.
The gameplay will earn you experience and gradually increase levels. With each level up, the players will earn perk points which the players might remember from Fallout 4 but it’s going to work differently in Fallout 76. You can use the perk points to choose from the three perk cards offering different perks with three ranks for each one and you’ll be able you choose a single card to keep. As an innovation, these perk cards will offer specializations in certain areas.
Each perk will come with three upgrade ranks, 1-star, 2-star, and 3-star rank. Each rank offers a better version of the perk which has been present in some other games already. You will have a limited number of perk card slots and you can choose to keep the one you want in those three slots.
You will have to switch perk cards to use a different because you won’t be able to use all of them at once and this will allow you to customize your character the way you want depending on the situations.
Fallout 76 is scheduled to release on November 14, 2018, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game will also feature fast travel and player protection for new players.
