Darksiders 3 has been confirmed to be released on November 27th earlier today. Along with its release date, five different editions of the game have been revealed, one of which is a $400 Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition. Is it worth its price?
If you’ve been waiting for the next chapter in the Darksiders series to get released then there’s plenty of options for you to choose from. THQ Nordic has revealed five different editions of the game ranging from its basic edition to the Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition.
The Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition is the game’s ultimate version. Apart from the base game and a beautiful steelbook to add to your collection, this edition gives you not one, not two, but four different figurines for Fury, Vulgrim, War, and Death.
Here’s what the Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition contains:
- A copy of the game
- Official soundtrack
- Amulet 5cm / 2″
- Fury Figurine 29cm / 11″ (approx.)
- Vulgrim Figurine 25cm / 10″ (approx.)
- War Figurine 24cm / 10″ (approx.)
- Death Figurine 24cm / 10″ (approx.)
- Wall Scroll 77cm x 100cm / 30″ x 40″ (approx.)
- Premium Box 120cm / 47″ (approx.)
Featuring four figures in one special edition might be too much for our pockets but the box itself is questionably worth the price. While all the other components don’t have such a sentimental or actual value, the figurines are beautiful and a pride for your collection shelf.
However, if you’re not a die-hard fan of the series, spending $400 on a single Collector’s Edition is a bit too much, if you ask us.
If you don’t want to pay the $400 price tag, then there’s also a Collector’s Edition for Darksiders 3 featuring the base game, its official soundtrack, the Fury figurine, a steelbook and the Premium box that houses all the items together.
Darksiders 3 releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 26th.
