Dying Light 2 was officially announced by Techland at E3 2018 and the game looks quite promising with the aim to provide everything in a better way.
Techland reveals the game will have more branching stories and reactive player choices which will change your in-game world. This will also result in an improvement to the co-op mode experience. Everything you earn by going into someone else’s world will carry on with you when you return back to yours.
Producer at Techland, Baghadoust said:
You will get some benefit out of playing with your friends. Aside from that, you’ll also be able to experience other versions of the story, other directions the narrative can take you.
This means when you go into someone else’s world, it’ll be completely different depending on the choices they have made throughout their playthrough. It’ll be completely different than yours so you can join to help a friend or invite him to yours to finish off something you have started, thanks to the deep branching paths and choices in the game.
Baghadoust continued by saying:
We believe co-op is deep in the Dying Light DNA, So you’ll be able to experience all of this in co-op. And the cool part is that each player can create his own version of the city. So if I play my game in my world it will be different than the things I will see when I visit your world.
The focus Techland has shown about the narrative in the game, it’s clear that the choices will play a big role in the game and there’d be a lot explore. Dying Light doesn’t have a release date yet and the game is repetitive but more fun.
Moreover, Dying Light 2 will have a co-op mode with deep narrative and choices to make the multiplayer experience of the game more interesting.
