Rumor: Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite Support Has Been Ceased And New Fighters Are Coming To Street Fighter 5

It’s already known that Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite wasn’t a successful title which everyone thought it to be but no one ever thought that the game will be shut down so soon as it’s been in rumors by multiple sources and this new information tells us that it’s really happening.

This information comes from a Reddit user who made some claims about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and at E3 most of his claims turned out to be true.

In the past he dropped some information about Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite by mentioning that Asura, Lady, Gill, Rashid, Captain Commando, Nina, Deis, Regina, Gene, Vergil, Akuma, Apollo Justice, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Green Goblin, Wolverine, Cyclops, Psylocke, Magneto, Storm, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, and Daredevil will be coming but it didn’t happen which made someone ask him out that his rumors are not true.

Vergeben replied by saying:

”MvCI support was ended because the game tanked. That’s not my fault that DLC plans were scrapped, despite there having actually been developments on them.”

According to him, it’s pretty clear that Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite support has been ceased and it well matches to the game’s poor performance. A Steam user in the past also claimed that Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is going to be pulled from the stores.

Well, that’s not all as Vergeben has revealed some spicy information about Street Fighter 5 as well which includes some fresh new characters joining the roster in the game. He claims that C. Viper from Street Fighter 4,  Oro, Q, and Necro from Street Fighter 3, Sodom from Street Fighter Alpha and some other character is going to debut in Street Fighter 5 with season 4.

Vergeben has provided some true information in the past but do take it all with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially announced yet.
