Fallout 76 Will Have Fast Travel And Player Protection For New Players

Fallout 76 was announced recently by Bethesda for PS4, Xbox One, and PC but it’s a completely different approach by the developers by making it an online-only game instead of a single player campaign Bethesda is known for.

Since the announcement, a lot has been revealed about the upcoming game by Bethesda and the latest information comes from an interview in which the developer, Todd Howard has revealed that the game will include fast travel like found in the previous games and it also includes player protection for low-level players or newcomers in the game.

He simply replied by saying yes to fast travel when he was asked but there’s nothing else much revealed about it or how it works. It might be similar to the previous games where you could travel the places you have visited before or similar to the one in The Elder Scrolls Online, we’ll have to wait to learn more about fast travel in the game.

Fallout 76 will have some perks for new players as it seems like they can’t be killed in a player vs player battle if they are below level 5. Most probably you won’t get attacked or defeated till the level 5. It’s also unclear how it works but it’s definitely something to not make you feel bad at the game or get you frustrated.

It’s mentioned in the interview that it might change it the future but for now, it looks good as it can be a pain in the ass when you are playing a new game and everyone else with upgraded levels are treating you like a toy.

Fallout 76 is a dedicated online experience but according to Bethesda, they are not planning to bring the same experience to Fallout 5 instead it will be based on the single-player experience only.
