As you may be familiar that that Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3 is scheduled to roll out on July 17th, you would be glad to know that, this new update will also be introducing a brand new Destiny 2 Power Level cap, which will give players a chance to rise up on the ranks a little, before the September expansion lands and introduces big changes.
The Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3 is slated for July and will offer the players, a chance to climb to 400 power level. So the current power level cap at 380 will increase to 400, and about 405 with mods. Players will have to take part in two activities in order to hit 400. The Prestige Spire of Stars and Eater of Worlds will reward the players with Raid weapons, that reach up to the 400 cap. The 400 armor will also drop at the summer solstice event.
That said, the 400 power weapons shall drop from the new prestige raid lairs. Regarding the summer solstice event, not much is known, but based on what Bungie has revealed so far, a new curated weapon suit, as well as a global modifier, will be featured every week. Players will have the option to freely choose their favorite weapons, within the defined restrictions.
Having said that, the Destiny 2 Forsaken Expansion shall join us this fall, while the Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3 will be joining us about one and a half month before, the Forsaken expansion does. All the while, Bungie has the intention to right many wrongs, and fix a great many issues being faced by the players in the game, but fixing the bug that prevents players from purchasing armor, will not be addressed in the Forsaken expansion.
For more details, you can certainly check out the official website of Bungie. Be that as it may, Solstice of Heroes is scheduled for July 31, while the Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3 for July 17th and the Forsaken expansion to launch on September 4.
