AMD Ryzen 3 2300X Specs And Benchmarks Leaked, Features 3.50 GHz Base Clock And More

AMD Ryzen 3 2300X popped up recently along with the Ryzen 5 2500X. However, this time more evidence has popped up suggesting the existence of the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X along with its full specs suggesting that it features 4 Cores/4 Threads, 8 MB of L3 cache and more.

The comes from Chiphell, where not only the mention of the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X popped up but the user also uploaded the images to back up his claims. According to the leak, the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X features a base clock of 3.50 GHz and a boost clock of around 4 GHz.

You can check out the full leaked specs for the Ryzen 3 2300X in the images below. This leak falls in line with the previous leak for the processor which also suggests that 2300X doesn’t feature the SMT.

Speaking of AMD, rumors and leaks have also been making rounds on the internet for AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990X. While AMD has announced the 2nd-gen Ryzen Threadripper but the company is yet to reveal it.

Reportedly, AMD will be announcing the Threadripper 2990X in partnership with Ferrari this month at Maranello in Northern Italy.

However, the specs for the Ryzen Threadripper 2990X has been leaked by a few sources. According to the leaks, the Threadripper 2990X will feature 3 GHz of base clock and a boost clock of 4 GHz.

The upcoming CPU also supports XFR which potentially can give a 200 MHz boost to clock speed along with 3MB L1 Cache, 16MB L2 Cache and 64MB L3 Cache.

In related news, AMD has also called out Intel Xeon saying that people get fired for purchasing Xeon.

AMD pushed some marketing material for its EPYC CPU in which AMD directly called out to Intel and even compared the Intel Xeon CPU with coal saying “Xeon Was Great. So Was Coal”.
