Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Pets

In the latest update for the popular Harry Potter mobile game, you will be finally able to acquire and tame pets. As of now, there are four available animals you can choose i.e. Cat, Rat, Owl, and Toad. You can tame all four of these pets but only take one on the adventures with you. The rest will remain rested in your dorm.

Pets serve more purpose than just to seem adorable, as upon waking up they will award you with free energy, something that you require to take on tasks and complete quests in the game. However, these pets come at a price, namely spending some in-game currency called Gems.

Now the amount of Gems to be spent is quite either high that would require lots of grinding by going to classes, completing missions, etc. or purchasing them through real-life currency.

Alternatively, the Gems can also come by at the end of the year by winning House Points and the annual House Cup. You can also partake in friends’ adventures to earn free gems. Lastly, watching ads and completing daily objectives will also net you some decent amount of Gems.

An Owl costs the most at 320 Gems while the Cat will cost 215 Gems. Both the Rat and the Toad have a lower buying price set at 160 Gems each. Once you have obtained the Gems from either of the ways mentioned above, head to your dormitory and select the paw print to purchase a pet.

Alternatively, you can tap on your Character’s icon and select the paw print from there to bring up the pet purchase menu. Now wake your Pet up and take a stroll with it to class… or just let it sleep and come back to gather free energy.

This is all we have in our Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Pets Guide. If there is anything else that you would like to add, let us know in the comments section below!
