Enemies Can Parry Attack And Heal Themselves In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is one of the most anticipated games of 2018 and many details have been revealed about the game since E3 2018 which tells us that it will be a lot different than any of the previous games in the series.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey features Spartans for the first time and the combat system of the game comes with a lot of improvements. A Redditor has posted a video of the gameplay in Odyssey which reveals that lots of major improvements have been made in the game to provide a completely different experience to the players.

Enemies have more control in the combat and they can do a lot more in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as compared to the previous games. Enemies can parry attacks which means you can’t keep hitting them by spamming the square button on your controller as they can block and as-well attack you back.

It’s always been easy in Assassin’s Creed games to kill off enemies but it’s about to change due to the new healing system included in the game which allows enemies to heal theme-selves, so you can’t just hit someone and finish him off later after you are done with others because their health bar will be continuously getting refilled.

In short, it’s better to finish off the enemies as soon as you can before they heal and charge themselves back at you.

Civilians are more powerful than ever in Odyssey. They can now pick up stray weapons and attack you back so keep an eye on them as these weapons can take a lot of your health.

Enemies that you will encounter sleeping in the game will retrieve their weapons from the racks so don’t consider them unarmed at all. You’ll get to see more resistance from civilians in the game and with all these changes, it’s confirmed that developers want the world in Odyssey to be more interacting and challenging.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is scheduled to release on October 5, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
