This wouldn’t be the first time the Threadripper 2990X has appeared online as the upcoming 32 Core Ryzen CPU has been popping up along with its specs. This time around the 32-Core Ryzen Threadripper 2990X has popped up at 3DMARK.
Aside for just revealing the benchmark results for the Ryzen Threadripper 2990X the leaks also reveals the specs for the upcoming 32-core Ryzen CPU.
According to the leak, the upcoming processor features a base clock of 3 GHz and a boost clock of around 3.8 GHz. These specs line up with the previous leak suggesting a base clock of 3 GHz and a boost clock of 4 GHz.
The leak suggests that the upcoming Ryzen Threadripper 2990X features 32 cores/64 threads, 3MB L1 Cache, 16MB L2 Cache and 64MB L3 Cache. Not only that, the CPU also supports XFR which will give up to 200MHz of boost to the CPU’s clock speed.
Furthermore, the report suggests that AMD also planned 16-core 2950X and 24-core 2970X, however, these variants of the Threadripper have been canceled following Intel announcing the 28-core Core X CPU.
Not only that, a listing for Threadripper 2990X has appeared online suggesting that the upcoming CPU will be priced at $1500.
Speaking of the Threadripper, following Intel announcing that it is giving away 8086 Core i7-8086K, AMD decided to troll with Intel and announced that it will trade 40 Core i7-8086K with its Threadripper 1950X.
Not only that, Ryzen 3 2300X And Ryzen 5 2500X have popped up online along with their specs and benchmarks.
AMD Ryzen 3 2300X is a 4 core CPU and has a base clock of 3.5 GHz and Ryzen 5 2500X features 4 Cores and 8 threads with a base clock of 3.6 GHz. Both of the processors feature a boost clock of 3.99 GHz and 8 MB of L3 Cache.
