With Assassin’s Creed Odyssey scheduled to release at the end of the year, everyone has been excited about the game and Nintendo Switch users have been expecting it for their platform too.
Assassin’s Creed is among the most expected titles everyone wants to see come to Nintendo Switch one day but that’s not happening anytime soon. Ubisoft has partnered with Nintendo before and they are closer than ever, however, when it comes to Odyssey, it seems to be a different tale.
Ubisoft has worked with Nintendo on Mario+ Rabbids Kingdom Battle in the last year and currently, their partnership will continue with Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
Yves Guillemot talked about Assassin’s Creed on Switch by saying:
“We need to make sure that the brands are well-adapted to the machine and that they will fit with the public as well. When we decide to go on the machine, we are taking considerations of elements and also the capacity of the machine.”
It’s clear that the company is not ready to release Assassin’s Creed on Switch which can be due to the hardware limitations on Switch or less public demand for the title.
In other news, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 5. It includes the biggest map ever in the series built according to the developers and the map is filled with a lot of content, places to explore, different stories and quests.
For the first time, you can choose to play from a female character in the game alongside with male. In terms of graphics, the game looks stunning and we hope Ubisoft will not downgrade the graphics of the game at some point.
Furthermore, skills menu has been added and the leap of faith ability will be available from the start and it will be upgradeable.
