Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most anticipated games of 2018. However, the game is scheduled to launch for Xbox One and PS4 while Rockstar Games has been quiet about the PC version of the game and hasn’t even denied that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC.
However, it seems that Red Redemption 2 is indeed coming to PC as a dev working on the game has slipped up some information regarding the game on his LinkedIn profile.
The developer in question has worked on GTA V and L.A Noire as a programmer and is currently working on Red Dead Redemption 2. The developer has listed on his profile that the upcoming Red Dead title is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has also emphasized the importance of PC, however, even Take-Two has never confirmed or denied that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC.
According to Take-Two, PC is very important for them as the PC platform is driven solely by digital distribution and has been for a long time while consoles have just started to adopt the digital distribution.
With the upcoming Red Dead Redemption sequel, Rockstar Games might be looking to adopt the same strategy as they did with GTA V. GTA V was launched at the end of the last-gen and then released the game to next-gen consoles and then GTA V was released for PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is also releasing almost at the end of the current-gen and the game might release for next-gen Xbox and PlayStation 5 before coming to PC. However, this is just speculation and we will know for sure once the game is released for PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action adventure game in development at Rockstar Games and is scheduled to launch on October 26, 2018, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
