PUBG Sanhok Map Goes Live Today, A New Gun And Some Interesting Tweaks

The much-awaited PUBG Savage map aka Sanhok map, which has been in development for quite some time now, will finally be joining us today. Alongside the map, they will be bringing a new gun and some interesting tweaks to the game. As you may very well know that this PUBG Sanhok Map, is a small-scale area map that stretches to about 4km x 4km.

This map will be first of its kind due to its small size, as it will be quarter in size compared to the other two maps. The best part about it is that players can expect quicker games since its scale is pretty small. Adding to that it will come with exclusive weapons as well, so that is also something to look forward to.

Apparently, PUBG Sanhok has been through some more changes, compared to what you saw on the test servers back in May. You can expect an increase in the spawning of weapons compared to other maps.

Aside from the PUBG Sanhok map, in-game UI elements and game Menu, as well as the minimap has been refreshed, so now players can expect fewer issues. Furthermore, players will now be able to tweak the sensitivity of their scope and also adjust their crosshair colors.

Having said that apart from this map, these are some minor quality improvements that shall perhaps pave the way for the better future of PUBG. It is good to see that PUBG is not influenced by the success and the popularity of its competitor, Fortnite.

In a recent interview the lead designer and director of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Brendan Greene said,

Whoever’s number one, that’s not important to us. What’s more important is making sure the game we have is stable and getting it to be a good foundation for an esport.

This seems to be the kind of take, a company should have in order to grow and produce better future games that have a solid foundation.

Having said that, PUBG Sanhok Map is scheduled to roll out today, 22nd June 2018 exclusively for PC. It shall go live in a form of a PC Patch 15, you can also check out the patch notes.
