Metro Exodus is one of the most anticipated games to be released in 2019. It got delayed recently and will now release in the Q1 of 2019. But the delay does nothing but good for the game. Developers had extra time to polish PS4 Pro version.
Huw Beynon of Deep Silver talked about the PS4 version of the game in details. Huw Beynon said:
I think the PS4 Pro version is going to turn out great. The engine is highly scalable. So for the last game, with the same piece of tech, we got to run on Xbox 360 and PS3, but we also had the enhanced version for PS4 and Xbox One. High-end PC graphics cards are paramount. Its track record speaks for itself when you’re looking at performance. So rest assured, if you have a PS4 Pro It’s gonna look great.
But not all is good news here, Metro Exodus will not come to Nintendo Switch as they are busy with other platforms.
“We’re kind of busy on the console platforms right now.” It’s a dream for everyone who owns a Nintendo Switch but it is not happening anytime soon as it’s not easy to do on the hybrid console.
Do check out 18 minutes of Metro Exodus here which was shown in a demo at E3 2018. It has provided us with a closer look at the game and how there will be different paths in a mission and ethics will play a huge role in the game. Looking at its graphical prowess, it is not hard to understand why it can’t be ported to Nintendo Switch.
Moreover, Weapon customization is better than ever, you can turn pistols into cannons and rifles into sniper rifles. possibilities are endless.
Metro Exodus will release on 22 February 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
