A good display is just as important for gaming as a GPU that renders the game and ACER has announced two new 4K HDR Gaming Monitors which also feature anti-glare IPS panel display.
These newly announced Acer 4K HDR gaming monitors also support Super Sharp Image technology that allows for the displays to process low-resolution images and upscale to the highest possible resolution so that the images could be viewed in sharp and clear quality.
Both of these Acer 4K HDR gaming monitors feature a response time of 4ms and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. Not only that, these displays come with built-in speakers, one HDMI 2.0 port, two HDMI 1.4 ports and a DisplayPort 1.2 port.
These monitors will be available in Japan on Jue 21 and no North American release date has been announced as of yet.
Speaking of 4K gaming monitors, while display manufacturers are announcing and rolling out their 4K HDR gaming monitors but, no new high-end GPUs have been announced for enthusiasts for them to play the games in 4K resolution.
However, a report has been making rounds on the internet suggesting that Next-Gen Nvidia GPUs, presumably GTX 1180 or GTX 2080, are coming in July.
Not only that, another report suggests that next-gen Nvidia GTX 1180 will release on Q3 2018.
This is according to Power Logic, who is the manufacturer of cooling fans for GPUs and gaming PCs, who revealed that the company expects its revenue to boost in Q3 2018 because of a buy order from one the Nvidia’s AIB partners during the same time period.
