E3 2018 was great and it almost included everything for everyone but still, there was something big missing. Rockstar and Red Dead Redemption 2 were missing and many were disappointed because of it.
Rockstar doesn’t attend E3 and it’s happening from years. It’s more like they don’t need to attend a big event to create hype for their games and instead, they do their marketing campaign independently.
This year it was a little different as people have reported that the Red Dead Redemption 2 was present at E3, not only that but there was an also secretive demo available for the game to selected people.
This news was revealed by Eurogamer’s editor, Oli Welsh who says that there was a private room where he saw the game being shown to a selected group of people.
He said , “we saw into a meeting room we weren’t supposed to see into and caught a glimpse of what appeared to be playable Red Dead Redemption 2 – on the face of it, this year’s most notable absentee – but it seemed very hush-hush and neither we nor anyone we know was allowed anywhere near it.”
An editor from Ars Technica has also backed up this claim. If it’s true, we might be closer than ever to get a gameplay footage from Rockstar of Red Dead Redemption 2 in a trailer.
It also means that those who were secretly selected to see the gameplay of the upcoming game will share their impressions of the game in the near future. So sit tight while we wait for more information regarding the gameplay of RDR 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature more choices than ever and the honor system. Three special editions have also been revealed for Red Dead Redemption to suit everyone who’s a normal gamer or a die-hard Red Dead Redemption fan.
