Forza Horizon 4 got announced at E3 2018, with a classy new trailer, that has most of the fans excited. When the fans saw the stunning visuals, which they were already expecting and the classy McLaren Senna revving around the roads, it gave birth to a lot of excitement and queries alongside. Some of the queries, fortunately, got answered in a meeting, behind closed doors with the developer Playground Games at E3 2018. Where among other details was revealed Forza Horizon 4 Horizon Stories feature.
The Studio art director Benjamin Penrose confirmed a few things, which include a lot of open world activities in this upcoming racing game. He said:
“One of the things that’s brand new is that we’ve added a feature called Horizon Stories. They’re really cool little bite-sized pieces of narrative-based gameplay that will center around certain activities involved in you owning businesses, interacting with certain people,”
He then continued elaborating further on this Forza Horizon 4 Horizon Stories feature, by giving an example of a chance to own a taxi company.
“For example, one of them you’ll have a chance to own a taxi company. However, driving a taxi in the real-world is very different from the sort of action in Horizon games, so you can kind of imagine how that ends up. There are a whole bunch of different things like that. There’s one where you’ll also be able to be a stunt driver.”
The most interesting thing he added was of a story, where the players will “take on the narratives that are associated with other racing games”.
Forza Horizon series is an outclass in its own manner but adding such features, should elevate the level of this game and make it more intense.
Forza Horizon 4 is scheduled to roll out on 2nd October 2018 for PC and Xbox One. It shall feature 4K HDR and will be available on Game Pass at launch.
