ASUS is one of the leading motherboard manufacturers in the PC market and reportedly the ASUS is preparing to roll out ROG Maximus XI series motherboards for Z390 chipset.
The report comes from Videocardz who claims that sources of theirs have revealed it to them that ASUS is working on ROG Maximus XI series motherboards for the Z390 chipset and these motherboards will soon be available.
According to the report, ASUS is working on 4 Maximus XI series motherboards for the Z390 chipset.

For those who don’t know, Z390 chipset belongs to the 8th-gen Coffee Lake CPUs. According to Intel’s official documents, Z390 will be the second chipset to feature 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes for Intel Coffee Lake CPUs allowing for multiple GPUs or SSDs to be installed.
Enthusiasts will be able to install two GPUs PCIe 3.0 x8 connections or just one GPU and two PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs with the help of the upcoming Z390 chipset.
Not only that, the report also suggests that ASUS is working on four ROG STRIX motherboards.

- ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-I GAMING
Speaking on Intel chipsets, reportedly Intel has halted the production of H310 chipset. According to the report, sources have revealed that the reason why Intel has suspended the production of H310 chipset is the 14nm process.
The increased demand for the 14nm process has caused the suspension of the production of Intel H310 chipset. Furthermore, the production halt will remain until July 2018.
