After a month of rumors, it has been officially announced by Epic Games that Fortnite is now available on Nintendo Switch.
Epic Games announced it yesterday at Nintendo’s E3 2018 press conference that Fortnite is coming to Nintendo Switch and as we speak it’s currently available to download for free on the hybrid console.
As of yet, it doesn’t seem like Nintendo Switch users are getting any special treatment in terms of emotes or skins. Also, there is no cross-platform play with Fortnite players on PlayStation 4.
Nintendo Switch has been criticised a lot for their online service and smartphone app which you’ll have to use in order to voice chat with the players which really doesn’t make sense but we have good news for Fortnite players as you guys just have to plug in a headset and you are all set without need of any app.
