Jurassic World: Evolution Dinosaurs, Facilities, Gameplay Mechanics, Release Date

Jurassic World: Evolution is developed by Frontier Developments and it allows you to build your own Jurassic World on the island of your choice.

It has been a long time since we had any Jurassic Park related game but now we finally have one and it looks to be amazing.

The game is coming soon so we have gathered everything that we know about the game so far and have compiled it here for you in one place.

Everything About Jurassic World: Evolution

We have detailed all about what kind of game Jurassic World: Evolution is, what sort of buildings you can build in your park, which dinosaurs have been included in the game, and other mechanics of the game.

It is one of the unique Jurassic Park experience and it allows you complete freedom to experiment with your fantasy park. You can view the game trailer below:

Goal of the Game

In Jurassic World: Evolution, you will be playing as the owner of your own dream Jurassic Park where you can build enclosures, breed dinosaurs and keep them as attractions for people to come and enjoy.

You will be spending a lot of time building your park as you will have to manage each and everything yourself.

You will be required to manage the finances, research new dinosaurs, keep the current ones healthy and happy, look after your visitors, and make sure that no bad situation arises at the park.

Jurassic World: Evolution is not just a simple park builder where you will just build a park and be done with it.

Throughout the game, you will be presented with a certain number of objectives and challenges that you will be required to complete. These challenges and objectives fall in three directions that will determine the direction of your park.

You can follow three different Jurassic Park paths. These are Entertainment, Security, and Science. The choice of objectives and challenges that you complete will determine your set path.

Although you can aim for objectives and challenges of all the paths, you cannot achieve them in the same path. Eventually, you will have to pick a certain path and follow its challenges and objectives.

The first path is Entertainment and it is focused on the tourists. You must build a park that is entertaining for the visitors and you must aim to keep them as happy as possible.

Do not forget that this is a Jurassic Park game and the main attractions will be dinosaurs.

The Security path focuses on the dinosaurs. You must keep the secure and manage them effectively.

This will allow you to breed and keep more challenging dinosaurs that are hard to manage. You will be required to invest heavily in security if you choose this path for your Jurassic Park.

The last path is Science. Science focuses on dinosaur research and other park improvements.

You must find new ways for your dinosaurs to live and thrive in your park and make them even better by improving their genome. This will also include some park improvement researches.

These three main paths are not your only test in the game. No matter which path you choose, a number of emergencies such as breakouts, natural disasters (storms, earthquakes, and other corporate issues) will continuously test you.

You will be required to handle these situations effectively otherwise, your park will not be able to continue for a long time.

Game Locations

The game will include five confirmed locations while the sixth location is said to be in the game but we currently have no additional information about it.

The five confirmed islands in the game are Isla Matanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Sorna, Isla Pena, and Isla Tacano. The sixth island is Isla Nublar.

This island is confirmed to be in the game but the developers are currently very silent about it. You can build a different Jurassic Park on all these islands and you can switch to them later in the game as well to change things.

Each Jurassic Park will be unique and you can adapt to the local islands for making the most suitable Jurassic Park and have different dinosaurs in each park.

Jurassic World: Evolution

Jurassic World: Evolution will feature some of the best and fan-favorite dinosaurs in the game.

Although you will have the ability to create custom dinosaurs by modifying their genes while their creation, the game will feature most of the famous dinosaurs. The developers are still revealing more dinosaurs steadily with updates, videos, and images.

Since the game is all about dinosaurs, they are highly detailed in the game and feature live-like animations. Special attention has been given to their visual detail as well as animations.

Most of the dinosaurs will have their own unique animations and they will also interact with each other that could end up in fight to the deaths or closeness.

We have compiled a list of all the dinosaurs that are confirmed to be present in the game below. We will continue to update this list as more dinosaurs are revealed in the future:

Structures and Buildings

Since the game is all about building your dream Jurassic Park, you will be building different types of structures in the game to expand your park and facilitate the guests and park staff in different situations.

The buildings in Jurassic World: Evolution range from amusement rides and animal feeders to research labs where you can research on new technologies. Below we have listed all the currently known structures that can be built in the game.

Just like the dinosaurs, this list is not yet complete and we will continue to update this list in the future with more buildings as they are revealed.

So far, the developers have officially confirmed only hatchery. Rest of the buildings mentioned below are based on guesses by looking at the game videos and images.

This is where your dinosaurs are bred and then later released into their enclosures. This is one of the most important of your structures.

Viewing Vent
This is built on a fence and it allows visitors to see the dinosaurs safely.

Gyrosphere Station
Gyrospheres are found in this building and visitors can ride them to explore the path. It is not confirmed at this point but based on speculations; these Gyrospheres will follow a set path built by the player.

Bowling Alley
An entertainment building for the visitors.

Innovation Centre
Visitors will enter and exit the park through this building, which makes it the main building of the park.

Research Lab
The purpose of this building is not yet confirmed however, this could be another building like the normal lab, which allows to conduct specific research.

Radar Tower
We currently do not know the exact purpose of this building; however, it could be used to keep track of all the dinosaurs on the map.

Hotels provide accommodations to the visitors to stay and relax.

Monorail Station
Monorails are used by visitors to move around the park quickly. As you expand your park, some of the attractions will be pretty far from the main park so you will need to provide a fast transport service to the visitors to reach the distant parts of your park.

Monorail will serve this purpose. You can build different monorail stations around the park to make it easier for visitors to more around the park. You can even build them through mountains.

Animal Feeders
Different types of animal feeders are also present in the game, which will be used to feed the dinosaurs in their enclosures. So far, we have seen ground herbivore feeder, a sauropod feeder, and a ground carnivore feeder in the game.

Water Fountains
Dinosaurs will drink from these water fountains most likely. Could also be used for attractions in the future.

Power Generation Structures
Throughout the park, there are different power lines connecting structures. This could be mean that there will be some sort of a power generation building or a system that will be required to keep the power flowing throughout the park.

This could be a series of generators, a giant power plant or some smaller natural power generation structures as well. We currently have very limited information on this.

This is all what we have on Jurassic World: Evolution. The game is set to launch on June 12, 2018 and the game looks like it is going to be a worthy Jurassic World game.

It has been a long time since we had a decent Jurassic Park builder game and Jurassic World: Evolution looks like it is ready to fill that gap. Jurassic World: Evolution is coming on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
