During E3 2018 Nintendo Direct, the company announced Super Mario Party for Nintendo Switch.
From the looks of it, it seems like Super Mario Party will allow 4 players to play together on multiple Nintendo Switch consoles. You will be able to setup multiple Switch(s) perpendicularly in order to make a path for characters (including Rosalina, Dry Bones, etc.) to move around.
In addition to this, the game will retain series’ staple board games. Super Mario Party will also include minigames that would require players to work together. Some of these minigames will be playable in split-screen mode and some on a single screen. Moreover, some minigames will require players to hold Joy-Con sideways in addition to utilizing motion controls.
Super Mario Party is scheduled to release for Nintendo Switch on Oct. 05, 2018.
