All Nintendo E3 2018 Announcements, Reveals and Trailers at One Place

The Nintendo E3 2018 is over, bringing announcements for all kind of Nintendo Switch titles. Star of the Show was Super Smash Bros. Find out more...

The biggest video game conference of the year has just finished its publisher’s stage conferences with the Nintendo E3 2018 Direct. During the time a variety of different titles have been announced for Nintendo Switch along with peripherals and free to play games. Let’s see a full recap of what the company shared with us during Nintendo E3 2018 conference.

Starting off in a rather weird note for Nintendo, Daemon X Machina has been revealed, bringing another Japanese mecha themed title to the hybrid console. No further information about it has been given, other than it releases in 2019 and it features a huge amount of destruction and fighting.

Moving on to the next Nintendo E3 2018 announcement, we have a brand new piece of DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Torna: The Golden Country. This DLC will bring new heroes to the game and add up to its success since its release. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna: The Golden Country releases on September 14th exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

One of the main attractions of Nintendo Switch over the past weeks is Pokemon: Let’s Go. Reggie Fils-Aime opens up a dedicated video explaining how the new Pikachu and Eevee editions work, how you’ll be able to catch Pokemon and carry them over. As he revealed – but we already knew beforehand – a new type of peripheral will be available for the game, Pokeball Pro which will let you catch pokemon realistically and carry them wherever you go.

A big surprise of the Nintendo E3 2018 conference was the announcement of Super Mario Party, which was heavily rumored but not greatly talked upon. A few of its mini-games have been revealed through a special funny trailer, making it a great addition to your Nintendo Switch library after 1-2-Switch. Its release is not far, as Super Mario Party releases on October 5th, 2018.

Guess who is coming to Nintendo Switch next year and not as a spin-off title? Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem Three Houses has been revealed through a gameplay trailer, bearing new graphics, features, and characters. You’ll have to wait until the second quarter of 2019 to get your hands on it but we bet its worth the while.

E3 2018 brought many announcements that free-to-play users will be excited about. After Bethesda’s announcement that Fallout Shelter and Elder Scrolls Legends are coming to the hybrid console. Nintendo is pumping up the list with free-to-play games with the announcement of Fortnite and Paladins. Even more exciting, is the fact that both titles will be available to download later today through the Nintendo Store.

A few indie games have also been revealed. Overcooked 2 has already been announced to come to the console, while Killer Queen Black and Hollow Knight are new to the bunch. Even more exciting is the news that the latter, along with all its DLC, will be already available to purchase today.

Another small but long-awaited information that Firs-Aime provided is that Octopath Traveler is finally releasing this summer, on July 13th. In case you played the game’s demo on Nintendo Switch and liked what you saw, you’ll be amazed to find out that another one will be added to the store soon, available on June 14th.

That was a long one right? This pretty much sums up all upcoming releases that you should keep an eye on this year. This is only half of Nintendo E3 2018 show though as the remaining 30 minutes have been dedicated to Super Smash Bros.

The announcement of Super Smash Bros didn’t need any introductions. We were all impatient to find out more about the game’s roster and what its improvements over the past titles will be. If you are a fan of the Super Smash Bros universe then you’ll be amazed to find out that all past characters in the franchise will be available on Nintendo Switch this year. All Nintendo characters, including some new ones, plus iconic past additions like Solid Snake and Cloud are coming back this year in the long-awaited Switch brawler.

After that, we take a good 15 minutes to talk about the characters in depth, detail their special abilities and mechanics. This is by far the most interesting bit of the conference, detailing how much of the Super Smash Bros have progressed in this new title. After that we get almost half an hour of gameplay, enjoy:

Super Smash Bros is releasing exclusively on Nintendo Switch on December 7th. Additionally, the support of Gamecube controllers has been confirmed for the game with the use of the Wii U GameCube controller adapter.

This sums up everything that happened during today’s Nintendo E3 2018 Direct. There are no more publisher conferences coming up in the day’s to come, however, you can keep up with E3 to find out more about interesting activities taking place at the venue, including interviews and tournaments.
