Nier Automata Xbox One Version Leaked Before Microsoft E3 2018 Showcase

Microsoft’s E3 2018 conference is starting in a bit, reportedly bringing 15 different new title announcements. One of those will be a Nier Automata Xbox One Version as a new leak suggests.

The Nier Automata Xbox One Version that will be revealed today at E3 2018 Day 2 will be called Nier Automata: Become as Gods edition and will be priced at $50. This edition won’t feature only the base game but will also include several DLC packs and a few cosmetic items:

  • Grimoire Weiss Pod
  • Retro Red Pod Skin
  • Retro Grey Pod Skin
  • Cardboard Pod Skin
  • The Machine Lifeform Mask Accessory

It won’t be long before we see the Nier Automata: Xbox One edition on shelves. The game launches in the Xbox Store on June 26th, which will also be revealed in a bit as the leak reports.

Nier Automata was one of the most successful Square Enix titles in the last years. Critics were overwhelmed by its world, with words about a sequel spreading around like crazy.

Speaking with WowJapan, producer Yosuke Saito revealed a while back that NieR Automata was originally planned as a PC exclusive title but after discussion with the publisher, Square Enix, the studio decided to launch the game for PS4 too. He added that the game’s engine was “geared towards the PC”.

The possibility of a sequel of Nier Automata has also been discussed at PAX East, where Square Enix brought in its finest to celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary with the director of the game, Yoko Taro, the producer Yosuke Saito as well as the composer Keiichi Okabe for a panel.
