A few Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Screenshots have leaked prior to Ubisoft’s E3 2018 Showcase which will take place tomorrow. The screenshots offer much more than what we were hoping for, showing almost every aspect of it, the protagonist, some gameplay bits, the map and features like sailing and the Hawk vision.
Ubisoft isn’t holding back information about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as it seems since its PlayStation 4 description has leaked, revealing some story details and its setting.
Furthermore, another leak suggests that the game’s map will be smaller than the one seen in Origins, among other information about its content, which Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed yet. With the new Assassin’s Creed Odyssey screenshots leaking, we now get a bigger picture of the upcoming title. Take a look:
The protagonist is seen in various screenshots, having the ancient greek look we expected. He is said to be a Spartan warrior during the Peloponnesian War around 400BC against the Athenians. This is not just a speculation, since some of the images show missions asking from you to weaken the Athenian forces or other related tasks.
While it looks like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set in the era mentioned above, there might be some kind of flashback or time travel feature, taking you back to previous eras in the Greek history. We shall know more about this potential feature tomorrow at Ubisoft’s showcase at E3 2018.
As you can see for yourself, sailing is back in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with different kind of boats, as well as Hawk Vision which was previously featured in Origins. The game’s interface has also undergone an overhaul while keeping the one Origins featured in mind.
Keeping all the information mentioned above in mind, it looks like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be a worthy addition to the franchise, marking another successful release after Origins. We shall not be getting ahead of ourselves though and be patient until tomorrow that every question will possibly be answered.
