Recently, Ubisoft announced that Operation Para Bellum is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The new operation in Rainbow Six Siege has arrived with new operators and a map in an update which weighs in at around 4-5GB on every platform.
This update is one of the biggest content updates ever released for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege along with new features and plenty of changes. As usual, this new update brings fresh new operators to the game which this time are Alibi and Maestro. These new operators are exclusive to season pass holders for a week and will launch for everyone else on June 14.
This latest DLC marks the beginning of Siege’s second season of its third year. These new Team Rainbow recruits are two of G.I.S.’ finest: Maestro and Alibi.
Alibi has a Prisma ability which projects holograms identical to Alibi in idle situations and if someone touches the hologram or shoots it, the person will get marked to the entire defending team for next few seconds.
If the Prisma is deployed outside, a false outside warning triggers for attackers.
Maestro, the second new operator is also a member of the Italian, G.I.S and also participated in different operations in Iraq. Maestra is known for his gadget called EVIL EYE which is a remote turret firing high energy laser beams.
Once fixed to the floor or a wall, Maestro can also remote-surveil and provide overwatch in a location through the mounted camera. if the camera is broken, the core of the turret is exposed to take damage otherwise this turret is bulletproof and unaffected by knife attacks.
Last comes Siege’s 20th map which is called Villa. A luxurious Tuscan villa is most tactical map up to date in the game. This map includes wide staircases, narrow tunnels, secret hatches and the illusion of covers which will haunt you once you step inside it.
This update is big, you can check out the full patch notes here. In Other news, we won’t be getting a Rainbow Six Siege battle royale mode.
