Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Returning Maps Confirmed And New Frequency Map Announced

There was a lot of gameplay shown in the recent live stream of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 by Treyarch. One of the awaited things revealed during the stream was the in-game maps which are a combination of brand new and old returning maps.

The latest new map revealed in the game is called Frequency which takes place in Hunan Province of China. This is a close range map to keep players moving around each other. Frequency map is based off an area where Specialists have traveled to gather new intel. The map is made for close combat so keep your guns loaded while playing on it.

The live stream which was hosted by Director of Communications, John Rafacz and Co-Studio Head, Dan Bunting and Studio Design Director, David Vonderhaar was full of surprises.

The amazing team also revealed that the most requested fan favorite maps are also coming back to Black Ops 4.

The returning maps include Jungle, which you will remember from the Black ops 1. Slums from Black Ops 2 which has a huge statue in the center of the map where most gunfights used to take place. The firing range is also back which is the all-time favorite and is requested to be in every Call Of Duty game.

As previously announced, Nuketown is also coming to the game for free in November which doesn’t need to be introduced to a Black Ops player anymore as Nuketown has been a staple in multiple Treyarch Call of Duty games ever since the very first Black Ops came out.

It’s really good to see that Treyarch has listened to the fans of the series and has brought some most of the most beloved maps back. Though there wasn’t anything related to Battle Royale Mode revealed during the live stream.

These all returning maps will be available at the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
