Rumour: Death Stranding Release Date Internally Delayed

According to the latest round of rumors surrounding Death Stranding release date, the game has been internally delayed to 2020.

Death Stranding is currently under development at Kojima Productions in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment. Sony confirmed four games for E3 2018 including Death Stranding which means more details are expected from the event. However, since they haven’t announced a release date or even a release window, they will not publically acknowledge the delay from 2019 to 2020.

Previously, Hideo Kojima hinted the game will release sometime around 2019.

Hideo Kojima has done a great job keeping a lid on leaks but as we head closer to E3, stuff is leaking out. For example, a massive chunk of information came out about Death Stranding gameplay, setting, weapons, and more. According to the leak, Death Stranding will feature tons of different weapons and is set in multiple era’s PvP is controlled by players around the world who can end it completely.

The trailer we are going to see at E3 2018 ends with Sam laying nude and lifeless on a beech. Moreover, Hideo Kojima will take the stage with a PS4 controller and its light will sync with the light on Sam’s handcuffs. At the end of the trailer, we will time travel back to the beginning of the trailer. So the end and the beginning are sort of merged.

E3 2018 is right around the corner and you should expect a big show from Sony this year. Death Stranding, Spiderman PS4, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part II.
