Destiny 2 Forsaken Special Editions And Pre-Order Bonuses Announced

Destiny 2 Forsaken has been revealed yesterday on Bungie’s dedicated live stream, bringing some cool new content and a western vibe to an otherwise classic sci-fi title. Earlier today, the Destiny 2 Forsaken Special Editions have been revealed along with the bonuses for anyone who pre-orders it.

Before proceeding to the Destiny 2 Forsaken Special Editions, remember that in order to be able to download and play Destiny 2 Forsaken you have to own both the base game and the previous two expansions: Curse of the Osiris and Warmind. If not, you won’t be able to access the new content and will be prompt to but the expansions you don’t own.

Pre-Order Bonuses (available with all three Forsaken Editions)

  • Ace of Spades Last Hand Exotic Ornament
  • Queen of Hearts Exotic Ship
  • Standoff Exotic Emote
  • Shades of Cayde-6 Armor Shaders

Destiny 2: Forsaken Standard Edition – $40

Includes only the base expansion. If you pre-order this edition you also get the bonuses mentioned above.

Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass – $35

Includes the Annual Pass which will bring three new pieces of DLC for Destiny 2 at a later date. Black Armory releases in winter 2018, Joker’s Wild somewhen in spring 2019 and finally Penumbra releases next summer.

Destiny 2: Forsaken + Annual Pass – $70

Includes both the base expansion and the Annual Pass. If you are a fan of Destiny 2 in general and intend to invest time in the game long-term then this is a perfect choice. The discount is fairly small, but everything is acceptable.

Destiny 2: Forsaken Digital Deluxe Edition – $80

Includes the base Forsaken expansion plus the Annual Pass and also features the Awoken Legend Set with an exclusive set of a Ghost and a Bow, which will be the new weapon type coming to Destiny 2 with Forsaken. The Dirge Paladin Emblem will also be offered if you choose that edition.

Before pre-ordering remember that in order to be able to download and play Destiny 2 Forsaken you have to own both the base game and the previous two expansions: Curse of the Osiris and Warmind. If not, you won’t be able to access the new content and will be prompt to but the expansions you don’t own.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is releasing on September 4th, 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can now head to the respective stores on each platform to prepurchase the edition you like, however, we advise you to take things slow on this one since Bungie will reveal more about Forsaken during E3 2018, so you can decide at that time if you like what you see.
