A specific edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 will have two different quests that aren’t a part of the game’s normal storyline. The edition in question, the Special Edition, will have two different Red Dead Redemption 2 side missions called Bank Robbery and Gang Hideout that will likely give them more story.
It’s not that much of an issue since special editions of various games often put in special bonus missions, but it does provide some interesting reasons to get the Special Version of the game, along with a number of other pieces of special content.
The other pieces of content include things like the two new Red Dead Redemption 2 side missions, a new horse in the form of the Dappled Black Thoroughbred, the Nuevo Paraiso gunslinger outfit, the talisman and medallion gameplay bonuses, gameplay boosts that give you extra money and discounts, and three weapons at gunsmiths that you can get for free.
You can also get a special treasure map that will point you to the various different places that you can find treasure in the game’s map area, allowing you to get even more money and other things that will help you along in the game.
A lot of this stuff may also end up making its way into the game’s multiplayer, which is sure to be very much expanded from the original game’s with the rampant success of GTA Online, which has kept people playing the game well beyond its story mode’s lifetime. Pre-ordering Red Dead Redemption 2 will also get you a lot of money in GTA Online cash, particularly in Special Edition and Ultimate Edition where you can get 1 or 2 million dollars.
Either way, if you want to pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2, you can get the Red Dead Redemption 2 side missions by buying the Special or Ultimate Editions. The game releases on Xbox One, and Playstation 4 on October 26 of this year.
