The Pokémon Company CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara has confirmed that Pokemon Switch 2019 will have better graphics and will contain brand new Pokemon.

A few days ago Nintendo announced their new Pokemon games for Switch including Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee which will feature creatures which are already present and have been introduced in the game.

While on the other side, The Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara also talked about an unnamed Pokemon Switch game which is said to release sometime in 2019. This unannounced Pokemon Switch game will be big and has been expected to feature brand new Pokemon to catch.

Everyone has been confused whether these new Pokemon will arrive in 2018 or in the unannounced Pokemon Switch version of the game in 2019. Now it’s officially been confirmed by CEO of the company, Tsunekazu Ishihara who spoke to Japanese publication Famitsu:

Generation 7 came back in 2016 with Pokemon Sun and Moon which brought many new creatures to the game. Generation 8 has been in talks for a long time and with some leaks, we did get an earlier look at the possible newcomers in the game.

We expect Nintendo to reveal some information about this unannounced Pokemon game at E3 2018.
