Fortnite Youtube Views Were 5 Billion For April Alone, While PUBG Had 553 Million Views

According to a statistics report, Fortnite Youtube Views have reached a swooping 5 billion in the month of April alone. Leaving behind its biggest competitor PUBG by a huge margin.

Fortnite, speaking honestly, is pretty much an internet sensation, other than the fact that it is also, one of the most popular Battle Royale game. It is apparently available on every platform from mobile to PC and Console, apart from that it is dominating the streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube. In fact, Fortnite Youtube Views have reached a swooping 5 billion in the month of April alone.

We came to know of this news from a report via Matchmade which is a website dedicated to analyzing the statistics behind Youtube videos and channels. According to their report, about 33,000 videos have been made about Fortnite, only for the month of April. If we combine it with the stats for the month of March, we get a total of 9.7 billion views, which is a 94% increase over the combined numbers of previous two months, January and February.

This Fortnite Youtube Views of 5 billion makes it the most watched game on Youtube. We have Minecraft in the second place with a total of 2.4 billion views.

The most interesting fact is that it means, Fortnite is earning nearly 10 times the amount of views if compared to its biggest competitor PUBG. What is even more captivating is the fact that for the same month PUBG only pulled 553 million views which may be an impressive number of its own, but is nowhere near Fortnite.

No wonder PUBG’s parent company is very touchy about the progress, that recently they filed a lawsuit against Epic Games for copyright infringement. Not sure what will become of this but one thing is pretty obvious looking at the stats that, Fortnite is leading PUBG in almost every aspect.
