After a lot of recent rumors and leaks about the next game in Assassin’s Creed series, Ubisoft has officially confirmed that their next title in the series is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and we will know more about the game at E3.
Ubisoft confirmed the title on Twitter with very little information in a 5-second video. The teaser shows off a person who looks like a Spartan, kicking someone off of a cliff which reminds us of the movie 300 or Spartans from God Of War. In the end, the game logo is shown with a familiar helmet design.

According to the earlier reports, the game is set in ancient Greece and after watching the trailer it appears that it really is.
There are also reports that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be similar to Origins but will be an “even more of a drastic departure for the series” than its predecessor with more heroic tales, battle, and mythology to look into.
For the first time in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will feature dialogue options, giving the title an adventure style. Furthermore, You’ll be able to play as either a male or a female protagonist which will be completely new characters.
The latest game in the series is said to arrive during Ubisoft’s fiscal 2019 period which ends on March 31st, 2019.
Keep in mind that nothing has been officially confirmed by Ubisoft about the plot of the game. So we can expect to know more about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at E3 2018 which will take place on Monday 11th June at 9 pm, UK time, which translates to 1 pm Pacific standard time.
