Bethesda is working 0n a new Fallout game called Fallout 76. It is an online survival RPG that was teased via a lengthy and weird teaser on a Twitch Stream. Later on, the game was announced as Fallout 76 but there isn’t much known about the game beyond that.
But a few hints here and there may have given away the game’s location (s). Bethesda showed a brief teaser featuring a song called “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The song mentions West Virginia which leads us to believe the game might be set somewhere in West Virginia. The teaser is a strong hint of our journey beginning is West Virginia.
However, the journey may lead him to California.
The Twitch Stream we saw featured one of the developers walking around in a shirt with the New Republic California flag on it. He wears a PipBoy and seems to be looking for directions using his device. It is assumed that he is looking for directions to New Republic California.
We can’t say anything for sure but West Virginia and California seems to be likely candidates here. Fallout 76 is set to be showcased at E3 2018 during Bethesda’s press event where a number of other games are rumored to appear as well.
Fallout 76, the online survival RPG, is believed to be a spinoff of the main series. According to the lore, Vault 76 is one of the 17 control vaults. It housed 500 occupants and it was designed to open 20 years after the nuclear war.
