Resident Evil 2 Remake Rumored To Run On Native 4K And 60fps On PS4 Pro

Well, it has been a while since we last heard about Resident Evil 2 Remake. Fans were excited when the first announcement was made but following that there have only been rumors and perhaps alleged leaks.

While we all hope, that we hear something about it at E3, we recently have a few more interesting rumors which seem to suggest that, the expected game will be running at, Native 4K and 60fps on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Before we move any further, do consider this as a rumor only and take it with a grain of salt, for now. Until we get any confirmation we cannot rely completely on the news. Having said that, all of this does sound reasonably plausible.

There is a probability that Resident Evil 2 Remake will be running on the Resident Evil 7 Engine and that it shall, be aiming for 1080p and 30 frames per second on the standard PS4 system while with Native 4k at 60 frames per second on a PS4 Pro.

As for Xbox One X, if PS4 Pro is targetting 4K/60 FPS then Microsoft’s console should have no problem whatsoever to achieve this target. The rumor also seems to suggest that the game will have a Resident Evil 4 style over the shoulder camera.

Although fixed camera scenes will still, be leveraged at specific points in the story, which shall be greatly expanded as well.

There have been multiple references, rumors, which suggest that several people, who have previously worked on the original title have returned to work with Capcom on this Resident Evil 2 Remake. Provided all these rumors turn out to be true, it would be a hell of a remake.

That said, do you have a knack for horror games? Have you played the original Resident Evil 2? What are your expectations for the remake? Let is known int he comments below.
