A teasing Ubisoft E3 2018 trailer has been released by the company to promote their upcoming E3 conference, which will be happening in June along with the rest of the E3 shows. The trailer mentions a wide variety of games that will be getting shown, including Beyond Good and Evil 2.
The various games shown (to Ubisoft’s helpful AI assistant Sam) include For Honor, Skull and Bones, The Division 2, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and Transference, all of which will be at E3 this year in some capacity. Sam also said that Ubisoft will apparently be showing off some new games, since they like to save a few surprises for the show.
Most of the games that were specifically named in the trailer are either already released or have already been announced, so we’ll likely get an actual trailer for them or some big news that Ubisoft will be giving out, such as an actual trailer for The Division 2, more information about Skull and Bones, and more. There’s no telling what Ubisoft has in mind for For Honor, but if it’s worth taking the game back to E3 for, it will likely be something big.
There’s also the fact that a lot of highly anticipated games like Beyond Good and Evil 2 are going to get more details at Ubisoft’s conference. The Ubisoft E3 2018 trailer mainly just showed off its final shot (and a well-deserved clip of “It’s about bloody time!”) but we haven’t learned anything about the game since then beyond that there would be co-op and a bit of gameplay.
Hopefully with all of the games mentioned in the Ubisoft E3 2018 trailer, plus whatever new ones Ubisoft decides to unveil, the company’s E3 conference will give us a lot of stuff to look forward to and get excited about when E3 rolls around.
