Far Cry 5 Hours of Darkness DLC Takes You To Vietnam With New Modes And Abilties

Far Cry 5‘s first DLC is on its way and it is called Hours of Darkness. It is oming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 5th.

Ubisoft has revealed details of the upcoming DLC of the game in a press release. Hours of Darkness is the first one of the total three DLC planned by Ubisoft for its successful Far Cry 5.

Starting on June 5 you will be able to take the role of Wendell “Red” Redler who is a soldier and citizen of Hope County on a mission to find and rescue his fellow squad members from hostile forces during the Vietnam War by fighting against NVA and VC soldiers in Jungle.

You can play House Of Darkness all by yourself or coop with your friends just like the main game but this also includes new gear and abilities.

If you complete the DLC you will be rewarded with two new modes which include a survivor mode in which player load outs will be limited to bring a challenge to the game. The other mode is called Action Movie Mode which is opposite of the first one by giving you a good amount of generous loadout so you can have non stop action just like in movies.

Other than that even if you buy the add-on or not, you are still going to get Vietnam-themed content assets for Far Cry map editor mode which you can use on any map.

You can now get Hours of Darkness alone for $12 and it will be free for you if you have a $30 Season Pass or $90 Gold Edition.

After the first DLC, you will get Lost On Mars which will allow you to fight against Aliens and Dead Living Zombies which will take you against zombies.
