Detroit Become Human has launched for the PlayStation 4 with critical acclaim and while the game is being praised for its story let us see how the game fares when it comes to performance in regards to its frame rate test on the base PlayStation 4 and the PS4 Pro.

Previous PS4 exclusives like God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn were technical achievements in their own right with beautiful graphics while maintaining a steady 30 FPS and Detroit Become Human frame test reveals that this PlayStation 4 exclusive is no different.

As you can see in the video below, courtesy if VG tech, the game has no trouble maintaining a Steady 30 FPS on both PS4 and PS4 Pro. Not only that, the frame pacing is just incredible which results in no micro stuttering at all just a smooth experience.

However, there are minor FPS drops here an there on the base PS4 and the PS4 Pro but it doesn’t affect the gameplay at all. However, given that this Detroit Become Human frame rate test is for the demo version, there is a chance that developer Quantic Dream has already sorted it out in the final release.

Speaking of the frame rate tests of console exclusives, State Of Decay 2 is an Xbox One exclusive launched just a few days ago. However, unlike the aforementioned PS4 exclusive the State Of Decay 2 frame rate tests reveals bad frame pacing throughout the game on both Xbox One and Xbox One X.

The frame pacing is all over the place as the Xbox One X version is running between 30-31 FPS which introduces micro stuttering in the game.

However, the Xbox One version of the game that runs at unlocked frame rate has even worse frame pacing. Not only that, the Xbox One X version of the game also sees FPS drops which adds to the stuttering even more.

Detroit: Become Human is a story driven game developed by Quantic Dreams exclusively for PlayStation 4.
