Ubisoft Personal Gaming Assistant, Sam a chatbot is now live, to keep its fans engaged with games connected to your Ubisoft Club account.
Sam uses voice commands or texts chat messages on your phone and it provides you with the best appropriate answers to your everyday gaming questions. This app is available on both iOS and Google Play stores. Sam can go as far as answering you the definition of insanity in Far Cry 3 to whether or not can you pet cats in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Ubisoft Montreal team has been working on this Ubisoft Personal Gaming Assistant for over a year, using Google Cloud technology in order to incorporate natural language processing.
Sam is available for free, all you need is a Ubisoft Club account and its mobile app to use it. When you will log in Sam will be greeting you and send you notifications based on your preferences. Apart from that Sam follows your in-game progression as well as provide you with the real-time stats. Be it Rainbow Six Siege, Assassins Creed, The Division, For Honor or any other Ubisoft game.
That said, Sam will also make you feel achieved or proud because as soon as you log in it will tell you how many Ubisoft games you have played, the challenges you have completed, your club level rank and how many units you can spend in club rewards.
At the moment, this Ubisoft Personal Gaming Assistant has been integrated only with Rainbow Six Siege, though over time it will surely be adding, more games.
It seems like Ubisoft is really stepping up its level over time. Although this chatbot is not quite there yet, it certainly is a head start.
Having said that, E3 is just around the corner and there is a lot of excitement for what Ubisoft has in store. Ubisoft will be holding its E3 briefing on Monday 11th June at 9pm, UK time and will take place at Orpheum Theatre downtown LA.
