Hackers Have Already Figured Out How To SoftBan Players In Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls Remastered launched a day early for fans to enjoy the game, however, the game is already having cheating problems as hackers have already managed to softban other players.

The hacker soft-banning other players is the same one that was causing trouble in Dark Souls 3. In Dark Souls 3 he used a weapon that would transfer souls to players that he would attack, which caused the players to be identified as cheater resulting in the game soft-banning them.

The hacker is pulling the same hack in Dark Souls Remastered, he sat in an area near the beginning of the game and constantly invaded other players’ world.

However, this time around the hacker used fireball so that he didn’t even have to see his target. Once the fireball hit the target it instantly kills them and then debuffs them which causes them to be soft-banned.

Speaking of the Dark Souls, if you already own the Dark Souls: Prepare To Die edition then you are in luck as you will be able to get the game for 50% off.

Furthermore, the game runs at 3200X1800 resolution and 60 FPS on PS4 Pro. Furthermore, in-game textures have been replaced with high-res textures or just simply removed but some have been left as it is.

Fans will remember the Blighttown from the first game which is easily one of the most hated areas in the game and producer Atsuo Yoshimura noted that they have looked into the matter.

Dark Souls Remastered is a third-person action game developed by QLOC for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
