Despite being single player only game, Kingdom Come Deliverance sold over 1 million copies in just a week after it came out on February 13. The game sold exceptionally well on PC, Xbox One, as well as Sony’s PS4.
If you are thinking that 1 million copies were profitable well think again because according to the latest issue of Forbes (Czech Republic Edition) Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s total budget was 750 million crowns or roughly 36.5 million dollars.
Kingdom Come Deliverance was well received by the community and critics although the game has been facing some issues regarding bugs and errors which the team was trying to fix recently.
Other than being a hit, the game will be also used to teach history in universities because of the game being set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia, an imperial state of The Holy Roman Empire with a focus on accurate history content which will be used as a course.
