SEGA has announced that the entire saga of Kazuma Kiryu remasters will soon be available on PS4. These Yakuza remasters will come with upgraded resolution and frame rates.
This news came from SEGA in the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation which revealed that SEGA has announced the upcoming release of remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 on PlayStation 4.
These will be simple remaster with higher resolutions and stable frame rates unlike Kiwami 1 and 2 which are remakes of for Yakuza 1 and 2 respectively.
Yakuza 3 Remaster will be the first remaster to be released on August 9 for PS4 in Japan at the price of 3,990 yen which is about 30 euros. The game will come with a code to download the game’s original soundtrack.
Yakuza 4 remaster will release sometime in fall 2018 and Yakuza 5 Remaster is scheduled for the spring of 2019 in Japan respectively.
There are no news about the western release of these remasters but there is a chance it will happen after SEGA’s concern of their games in west. Now all we have to do is wait for the official announcement to know more in detail about these games.
Currently, only Yakuza 0, Yakuza 0, 1, 2, and Yakuza 6 which launched recently are available to play on PS4 and after these remasters all Yakuza games will be finally accessible on PS4.
Also, we came to know during a recent interview of Sega Sammy CEO Haruki Satomi that Yakuza Studio is working on a new title for home consoles after the success of Yakuza 6 and it can be a sequel to Yakuza 0 as he has shown interest in that.
