Nvidia GTX 11 series gaming graphics cards have been keeping us waiting for a long time now. There was no announcement at GTC or GDC so that got us thinking that we could get an announcement at Computex 2018. It seems that might not be the case at the end of the day. Computex 2018 is a huge event and it would make sense if Nvidia decided to release the Nvidia GTX 11 series gaming graphics cards at the event.
At the JP Morgan Technology, Media and Communications Conference, Ms. Colette Kress, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Nvidia was asked multiple questions regarding the upcoming architecture and the nature of the Nvidia GTX 11 series gaming graphics cards. While she avoided most questions, as you would expect, she did mention that Pascal was the king of the present and the best graphics cards on the market.
This could hint that we might not be getting a new architecture for the gaming series at Computex 2018 and that the upcoming announcement is for a Titan V replacement maybe. As of right now, there is plenty that we do not know and Nvidia has been awfully quiet regarding the matter at hand. Kress also mentioned a surprise which is very confusing from where I am sitting but come Computex 2018, things should become clear.
Whatever the case is, we are very excited to see what Nvidia is going to announce and I have to say that the hype is real. I am sure that there are other people that feel that same way and have been waiting as long as I have.
Let us know what you think about Nvidia GTX 11 series gaming graphics cards and whether or not you think there will be an actual announcement at Computex 2018 and whether or not you are waiting for the Volta based gaming graphics cards to come out or not.
