Nvidia’s 4K 144Hz displays were supposed to launch earlier this year, however, we are still waiting for these displays to launch but not for long as Acer Predator X27 is finally available for pre-order online.
The Acer Predator X27 is available for pre-order at NewEgg and is priced at $1999.99 and is scheduled to roll out on June 1.
While the price is definitely high this 4K 144Hz display comes with G-sync support, has a peak 1,000 nits brightness rating and is essentially a quantum dot display with 99% sRGB color space coverage.
- NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR

- 4ms (GTG) Response time

While the display is definitely worth the price but, there is no GPU either from Nvidia or AMD that can run games at 4K 144Hz which might indicate that Nvidia will launch its next-gen GPUs following the release of these 4K 144Hz displays.
Furthermore, a report has been making rounds on the internet suggesting that Next-Gen Nvidia GPUs, presumably GTX 1180 or GTX 2080, are coming in July. According to the report, industry sources have revealed that next-gen Nvidia GPUs will be available in July 2018.
Not only that, reportedly Nvidia is also bringing a GTX 1050 with 3 GB VRAM to the market. However, there is a possibility that this 3 GB version of the GPU could be China exclusive like the 5 GB version of GTX 1060.
