Turn 10 Studios’ Brian Ekberg has announced live during an episode of Inside Xbox that they are bringing new features to Forza Motorsport 7.
In the upcoming months, you will be able to enjoy a new feature called Race regulations, a tool with visualization of the course to make it easy for drivers to see the penalty marks. It can be disabled if you find them annoying.
The mode against the clock present in the Forza Motorsport 6 which is absent for no reason, is now finally going to make its way to the game with the future patch and will be compatible with all circuits and cars.
An experimental drag racing system will be introduced which is called the dragster mode and will be single player only in the start, will be reviewed to allow us to chase the races without returning to the menu or lose time, or warm up the tires before the green light. It will first be tested offline before being available in multiplayer.
The team is also working on improved drift mechanism which we will know more about down the line alongside with other improved features.
The developers have also revealed that they are working on bringing free and paid cars in the future. You will also now be able to get the Hoonigan Car Pack starting from June which was previously available to those who pre-ordered the game.
