Black Ops 4 On PC Will Be On With Overwatch And Destiny 2

If you’re looking for a place to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PC, then you won’t be looking on Steam, Origin, or any other store. Instead, you’ll be looking on, Blizzard’s own gaming client. This will be the first Call of Duty game on that service.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be joining Destiny 2 as one of the first third-party games put on, after Destiny 2 was announced to be on the service when it came out last October. This has a number of advantages for Activision and Treyarch (especially since Activision is the parent company of Blizzard), as players will be able to use all of’s social services.

This includes friends lists, communication tools, party functions, and the ability for friends on to communicate across games, such as if one player is playing Overwatch and another is playing Black Ops.

In addition to being available on rather than other platforms like Steam, Black Ops 4 on PC is going to be optimized for that platform, including options for 4K resolution, 21:9 ultra widescreen, HDR, and an uncapped framerate, so if you want the best experience and have a computer that can run it, playing the game on PC might be your best bet.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is also likely one of the most unconventional Call of Duty games yet. True to various rumors a campaign mode will not be included; players will have access to standard multiplayer, a zombies mode, and, new to the series, a Battle Royale mode.

So, if you want to experience all of the new things you can do in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on PC, remember to not look at Steam, but instead at Black Ops 4 comes out on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on October 12 of this year.
