Bayonetta 3 Development News Says The Game Is Developing Well

Platinum Games has given out some Bayonetta 3 development news at the latest Bitsummit this past week, and it’s good news for every Bayonetta fan. According to Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya, two of the major players at Platinum Games, the game is progressing well and has many surprises in store.

Bayonetta 3 is the third game in the Bayonetta series, focusing once again on everyone’s favorite gunslinging hair-wearing witch in a for-now unknown new adventure. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 have both been rousing successes on Nintendo consoles, and Bayonetta 3’s upcoming release for the Nintendo Switch will likely serve as a system seller for many fans of the games.

Bayonetta 3 was originally announced at the 2017 Game Awards, but we still don’t really have a release date for the game. However, if the game is progressing well, we may get something of a release date during E3’s Nintendo conference, especially if it’s one of the big releases coming out for the Switch this year.

While Bayonetta 3 development news has said that the game is progressing well, we can likely expect it to be similar to the other two games, mainly with fast-paced combo-based combat against a variety of different forms of angelic enemies as we continue the conflict between the Umbral Witches and Lumen Sages.

While Platinum can’t say much about what all is in Bayonetta 3, they do say that the game offers many surprises, and only advise us to stay tuned throughout the game’s development cycle. Once again, we’ll likely have to wait until E3 to get anything like an actual trailer that will tell us more of the story.

Either way, we’ll just have to wait E3 to see what all Bayonetta 3 will entail. Hopefully the game will be just as good, if not better, than the original Bayonetta games, especially with a revitalized Platinum Games working on it after developing the wildly successful Nier Automata. Either way, hopefully more Bayonetta 3 development news will come out soon.
