Star Fox Grand Prix Rumor Picking Up More Heat, Another Project Of Retro Studios Also Rumored

As you may be aware that E3 is just around the corner and various rumors and speculations have taken control of the news feed lately. One of the hottest pre E3 rumors is of Retro Studios reportedly working on a Star Fox Grand Prix game.

Since it’s a rumor we can’t be certain but we also can not astray from the possibility of it proving to be true. While this Star Fox rumor picks up more heat, additional information seems to point out on the possibility of Retro working on another title.

As you may already be aware of the rumor, that originated from Reddit, where a user who goes by the name, DasVergeben, claimed a Star Fox Grand Prix to be in the works. Alongside that, there is another rumor which originates from pretty much the same source and suggests that while Star Fox just may be in production, there is also a possibility of another new IP to be in the works as well.

Following the first rumor, there have been claims which seem to suggest that Austin, Texas-based Retro also had a separate project that went through a rocky development cycle.

Furthermore, they also claimed to have heard about Retro Studios working on at least two different projects. One based on the recent rumors is assumed to be Star Fox Grand Prix and the other is unknown.

Having said that, since these are just mere speculations and rumors, it would be wrong to place any expectations. Although come to think of, it would certainly explain why the studio has been oddly quiet since the original launch of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Maybe they were busy working on something, or perhaps not?

One thing is sure, E3 will certainly cast more light on these rumors.
